Cummings School Students Receive Scholarships
Zoetis and the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) are pleased to announce the 2017 Zoetis Veterinary Student Scholars Award recipients. This year over 1,700 applications from second and third-year students were received from colleges of veterinary medicine in the U.S. and Caribbean. From those applications, 315 recipients have been selected for this award and will cumulatively receive $630,000 in scholarships.
Zoetis is very pleased to be able to financially reward dedicated veterinary students who are already making outstanding contributions to the veterinary profession and to the overall well-being and medical care of animals. The AAVMC facilitates the Zoetis commitment by administratively supporting the scholarship process.

The American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) and Merck Animal Health (MSD Animal Health) are proud to announce the recipients of the 2016-17 veterinary student scholarships. From a pool of over 1100 applicants, the students below were selected to receive a $5,000 (US) scholarship. The AVMF’s Scholarship Review Committee scored the students in academic excellence, involvement in university and non-university related activities and leadership.
