Alexandra Lombard, MCM’18

Next we have Alexandra Lombard, MCM’18, “I have lived in Columbus, Ohio my entire life and graduated from the Ohio State University with a BS in Zoology. Working with wildlife, especially in a medical sense, has been my passion for quite some time now. I have worked in a small animal vet hospital and a private horse barn, but my most impactful experiences have been at the Ohio Wildlife Center and ARCAS Guatemala; rescue and rehabilitation centers for native Ohio and Guatemalan wildlife, respectively. They’ve helped to solidify my goal to dedicate my life to species preservation. I have become especially interested in disease management in wild populations. The MCM program is the perfect fit for what I hope to be doing, especially with its conservation-minded approach. My own animals include a dog named Gemini, a hedgehog, and a frog. Other than wildlife, I love all things outdoors and dancing!”
