Tricia Montague, MCM’18

Our next MCM’18 student is Tricia Montague, “I graduated from Rutgers University, majoring in Biology and minoring in chemistry and psychology. I have spent the last few years volunteering with the Clifton Animal Shelter as a shift coordinator. This experience has helped pave my passion for conservation medicine and inspired me to apply for the MCM program. I am particularly interested in the spread of infectious disease and the impact of water pollution on humans and wildlife. I plan to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine after completing the MCM program. Having gown-up in northern New Jersey, I have always spent free time hiking, camping and kayaking but also love to head to the shore and spend some time on the boardwalk. When I’m not outside I love to curl up on the couch with a book and my cat, Squirt.”
