Alexia Goodman, MCM’20
I’m from Greenville, Georgia and earned my Bachelors of Science in Forest Resources from The University of Georgia in December 2018, majoring in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences. Most recently, I worked as an Environmental Educator at Fortson 4-H Center. During my time at the University of Georgia, I discovered the concept of Conservation Medicine through my school’s Conservation Medicine study abroad course in Costa Rica. Since then, I tailored my education to further my knowledge in the field and developed a passion for urban wildlife health. My goal is to become a professor of wildlife biology and conduct research on urban wildlife ecology, nutrition and health. Outside of school, I enjoy yoga, Disney, reality television, and spending time with family and friends. I have two pets, a five year-old rescue Staffordshire terrier named Ivy and a two year-old rescue calico cat named Coral.
