Grateful not only to have a loving family, which includes her new addition Gidget, a Papillon and Yorkie mix, but also grateful to have had the caring staff at Foster Hospital for Small Animals at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine heal Gidget’s teeny little heart. With Gidget’s diagnosis of Patent Ductus Arteriosis (PDA) at only three months old, Maria speaks from her heart about how she knew she had come to the “right place” from the time she had her very first interaction by phone.
